Water Wise Education, Shred-It, Mulch Giveaway, & More!

The Spring Expo will take place at the Yucaipa Community Park (34900 Oak Glen Rd.) on May 11 from 8AM-12PM.  To further Yucaipa Valley Water District’s goal of carefully managing our water resources, YVWD is giving away free trees to the first 100 water customers with a valid photo ID. Other resources and information will be available to help residents convert to a waterwise garden. Show proof of residency by presenting a valid photo ID. Residents may bring up to four boxes (12”x10”x16”) or four bags no larger than 15-gal/person of residential paperwork. Any paper that is not residential, will not be accepted. The compost giveaway is a self-serve event. Bring sturdy bags, pails, containers, gloves, and a shovel to take and load your compost.
