This class focuses on Yoga and Pilates type movement, with an emphasis on joint mobility, muscle and core strength, balance, and movement.

Legacy Hula is taught from generation to generation, keeping the hula steps and principles consistent with the culture. Hula is a great way to exercise, have fun, and learn more about Hawaiian culture and celebratory dancing.

Tai Chi is an ancient Chinese exercise with movement to help you relax mentally and physically at a deeper level. Wear loose comfortable clothing.

• Drop-in classes are held Tuesdays and Thursdays, from 8:45 a.m. to 10:15 a.m.

Looking or a class where you can create a variety of arts and crafts with the help of an instructor? Join us once a month, on Thursday, for crafting fun. This free senior club is for individuals of all levels who are looking to tap into their creative side amongst other crafters. Pre-registration is required and can be done in-person at the Scherer Community Center, or by phone by calling 909-797-1177. Supplies are provided.

Whether you are a beginner, novice, or advanced guitar player, we welcome you to join us on Fridays to play. this free drop-in club is focused on music and camaraderie. Bring your guitar!

Calling new and experienced artists! Join the senior paint and art club to meet new friends while you create your own artwork. This is a wonderful social activity for all skill levels. Bring your own supplies.

Painting can be a lot of fun and a great way to express your creativity. Bring a friend or come alone and make a new one! A refreshing beverage and light snacks will be served.

Engage your mind and have fun with our senior trivia! This activity features a variety of general knowledge questions, covering topics like history, music, pop culture, and more. Participants can compete individually or as teams to answer trivia questions and win small prizes. It’s a great way to challenge your memory, learn new facts, and socialize with others. Come test your knowledge in a fun, relaxed atmosphere.

Family Service Association provides nutritious meals to seniors throughout Riverside and San Bernardino Counties serving 2,500 seniors a day.  The senior must be at least 60 years young.

A suggested donation of $3.00 a person would be greatly appreciated and is what helps FSA continue to serve our community meals.

Hot meals are available from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.; check-in begins at 10:45 a.m.

The Nutrition Center is available at 12202 First Street, next to the Scherer Community Center.

The “More Than A Meal” program delivers meals to home-bound seniors throughout the region. This program allows seniors to remain living at home independently for as long as possible, while being assured that they receive at least one nutritious meal each day.
