Community Activity Grant Program
The purpose of the Yucaipa Community Activity Grant Program is to support the efforts of local non-profit 501(c) agencies/organizations that provide valuable services, programs and/or events to the Yucaipa residents.
On March 23, 2026, the City Council approved the CAG Program and approved funding levels in the amounts of $20,000 for financial requests and $40,000 for in-kind requests.
The City of Yucaipa is accepting Community Activity Grant (CAG) applications for the Fiscal Year (FY) 2026/27 grant cycle beginning April 1, 2026. To be eligible for the FY 2026/27 CAG Program, all Accountability Reports (from prior grant cycles) must be completed and turned in for Council review prior to applying.
As a reminder to organizations seeking financial assistance, the FY 2026/27 program guidelines include the requirement of a 100% financial match for all applicants receiving financial awards. Additionally, there will be an established deadline for FY 2026/27 CAG financial grant requests of April 30, 2026, at 5:00 p.m. Financial applications received after the deadline will not be considered. Applications for in-kind/fee waiver assistance will not have an established deadline; however, requests will be reviewed and considered as received until funds are depleted.
Completed grant applications may be emailed to tdavis@yucaipa.gov, hand delivered to the General Services/City Clerk Department, or mailed to the City of Yucaipa at 34272 Yucaipa Blvd., Yucaipa, CA 92399, Attention: Tara Davis.
Prior to submitting a CAG application, applicants applying for in-kind/fee waiver assistance should contact the Community Services Department, as necessary, at 909/797-2489 ext. 328, to assist with obtaining the City facility rentals, special event permit(s), and/or requests for service that may be required.
