The next General Municipal Election will be held on November 3, 2026.
The City of Yucaipa consolidates with the San Bernardino County Registrar of Voters office for all municipal elections. General Municipal elections are held on the first Tuesday in November of even-numbered years for the purpose of electing City Council Members or placing special measures before the community.
Although the City of Yucaipa consolidates with the San Bernardino County Registrar of Voters, the City Clerk serves as the Local Elections Official. As the Local Elections Official, the City Clerk is responsible for all candidates’ filings (including campaign and conflict of interests), issuing and accepting nomination papers, publication of all legal notices, and City measures.

Member of the City Council, District 1 – Full Term Four Years
Member of the City Council, District 2 – Full Term Four Years
The next election for Districts 3, 4, and 5 will be held on November 7, 2028.
The Candidate Filing Period for Nomination Papers will be open from 8:00 a.m. on July 13, 2026 – 5:30 p.m. August 7, 2026. Please note that the Nomination Period is subject to change if it is extended pursuant to Elections Code Section 10229.
