Annual Operating Budget & Capital Improvement Program
The City of Yucaipa’s Finance Department prepares an annual budget each fiscal year. The City’s fiscal year is from July 1 through June 30.
The City of Yucaipa’s annual operating and capital improvement budgets are adopted by resolution of the City Council for implementation at the beginning of each fiscal year.
A separate resolution is adopted by the Successor Agency to the Yucaipa Redevelopment Agency for the Successor Agency Budget.
Fiscal Year 2025-2026 Budget Book
This year’s budget was produced with the cooperation of all City departments and coordinated by the Finance Department. An enormous amount of data is compiled to accomplish the accurate layering of revenue estimates, anticipated expenses, cost allocations, and salary calculations for a City with multiple programs and funds. In the end, the FY 2025‐26 Annual Budget is the staff’s best estimate of a spending plan for the coming year.
